About Us

The Lucky's Adventures Series was inspired after the author's furbaby was lost while she was out of town during Thanksgiving 2016.

Once hearing that Lucky was lost, Elizabeth took the next flight home to search for her dog, while friends, neighbors and even strangers had already started searching for Lucky. Thanks to the kindness of their community, Lucky was safely found after a four-day search. Elizabeth was inspired to share Lucky's magical story of hope, perseverance, love, friendship and kindness.

The full story of how Lucky was lost and found is in the back of Lucky's 1st book, Lucky's Adventure in Saratoga.

The Lucky's Adventures Series is a proud gold medal winner of the Mom's Choice Awards, Story Monsters Approved, and Readers Favorite 5 Star Reviews.

- Lucky Charms, Star of books-

Lucky is a rescue dog who was adopted into her forever home in April of 2016, at the age of one. Her birthday is April 9, 2015.

Lucky is a yorkie-affenpinscher mix, weighing in at eleven pounds. She has long legs and is a very fast runner.

Lucky is a sweetheart, but she is shy with new people and sometimes likes to bark to say hello. She will never miss a playdate with her friends. Lucky loves going for rides and enjoys outdoor activities. She also loves kisses, belly rubs and cuddles.

Fun Fact:  Lucky is not a morning doggie. If you wake her up before 9am she may be a little cranky.

Lucky went on her real adventure through Saratoga during Thanksgiving week of 2016.
